After years of shamelessly attacking the public about Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities, the media seemed to turn on the president in unison after his disastrous debate performance, in which Biden stuttered, stumbled and mumbled his way through a grueling 90 minutes, muttering confused answers and staring off into space with his mouth agape.
Examples of the president’s cognitive decline have become so commonplace that journalists have been forced to label embarrassing videos of the aging commander in chief as “cheap fakes,” in an attempt to shame the public into ignoring the obvious. Despite having invested heavily in hiding Biden’s age in the past, hosts on networks like CNN and MSNBC speculated in post-debate spin sessions that the aging leader might need to step aside. The debate was treated as a sudden revelation instead of an admission of the self-evident truth that President Biden has been a fraud all along.
Americans seem more interested in guessing who will get the rose next than facing the reality that our political system is a sham.
The 2020 presidential election was perhaps the most controversial election result since 1876. Americans were asked to believe that Biden, who spent much of the campaign hiding in his basement, had won the most votes in U.S. history. Although the future president was in better physical condition at the time, it was clear that he was beginning to lose his ability to remember important facts or participate in lengthy debates. Even in 2020, some pundits joked that it wouldn’t matter if Biden collapsed and was replaced after the election, as long as they didn’t put Donald Trump in the White House.
Administration officials have done everything in their power to prevent Trump’s reelection. They have elevated the fear of a pandemic to apocalyptic levels, actively encouraged organized race riots across the country, and fundamentally altered the voting process. Even if you doubt the more salacious claims of voter fraud, you should read Molly Hemingway’s excellent book, “The Facts of the Fiction Fiction,” which is a book that will help you understand why the Fiction Fiction story is so popular.Cheating” reveals how tech CEOs, government officials, Democratic operatives and the media openly conspired to bring down a sitting president. The oligarchy installed Biden as president but never expected him to do the job.
While Biden had some recognition early in his term, the past few years have made it clear that he is not in charge. The American people have no idea who is actually responsible for ruinous inflation, open borders, and endless foreign wars. That is exactly what the ruling class wants. The oligarchy loves to avoid accountability, and Biden makes the perfect shield. A group of unidentified elites make decisions in the shadows, and then a shambling, zombie-like president is brought out on stage to read from a teleprompter and take the blame.
None of this bears much resemblance to the system outlined in Article II of the Constitution, but no one seems to care. The mainstream media praises Biden for his agility and dismisses evidence to the contrary as “fake news.” Conservative commentators play endless videos of Biden wandering around the stage, forgetting where he is, while still pretending that the president is responsible for executive decisions. While it’s common for presidents to delegate important tasks to their advisors, under Joe Biden, it’s clear that unelected bureaucrats and strongmen have total control over the Oval Office.
In public debate, setting a frame is important. A debate’s frame defines the boundaries of the discussion. That frame may be filled with endless speculation and debate, but the debate is ultimately defined by the space the media creates to contain it. As a journalist with a duty to hold those in power accountable, if you were clearly promoting fraud, how would you have avoided that outcome?
People are very sensitive to the status that is conferred in modern society by entitlement, wealth, and media visibility. Even if something is obvious, people are afraid to notice it if the facts go against the narrative the powers that be. Everyone already knew that Biden is a zombie. We didn’t learn anything new last week. But his particularly embarrassing debate performance gave the media permission to acknowledge what was already obvious. This permission acted as a pressure release valve, allowing all the pent-up discussion on the topic to fill the frame the media had constructed.
With the right framing, the entire debate has seamlessly shifted from “Biden is fine, it’s all fake news” to “Biden is weak, who should replace him?” Speculation about whether and how Biden could be replaced, and the pros and cons of each potential replacement, now dominates the discussion. The event has become part process story, part reality TV. No one is willing to acknowledge the deeper implications of this revelation.
Biden’s fiasco should be a clear indication that the Executive Branch is not run by an elected President. This has probably been the case for some time, and should have been made clear by the entire Deep State rebelling against Trump. It is now too obvious to ignore.
An unaccountable oligarchy installed an aging fake president in a soft coup. Instead of addressing this shocking truth, media on both the left and the right are arguing that Gavin Newsom is too white to overtake Kamala Harris and run for Biden. The Biden administration has always been a sham, but Americans seem more interested in guessing who will get the rose next than facing the reality that our political system is a sham.
