New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Marchan has postponed President Donald Trump's sentencing until November 26th.

The original date was September 6th.

The Epoch Times reported:

New York State Supreme Court Judge Juan Marchan said on September 6 that he would postpone the sentencing in former President Donald Trump's criminal trial until after the 2024 presidential election.

The new date is Nov. 26 instead of Sept. 18. It was originally scheduled for July but was postponed following the motion for immunity and Marchan's resignation.

In a letter to Trump's lawyers and the New York District Attorney's Office, Marchant described the Supreme Court as a “fair, impartial and apolitical body” and said it had sought to delay the decision to avoid the appearance of bias.

“The execution of the judgment is postponed in order to avoid any impression, however unwarranted, that the presidential elections in which the defendant is a candidate are approaching and that this has influenced or is attempting to influence the proceedings,” he said.

Donald Trump responded to the news by saying, “The Manhattan District Attorney's witch hunt has been put on hold because everyone now realizes there was no incident and I did nothing wrong!”

Truth Society:

The Manhattan District Attorney witch hunt has been postponed because everyone now realizes that there was no case, that I did nothing wrong. This is a political attack on me by Comrade Kamala Harris and other Radical Left Opponents with the goal of election interference, a case that should never have been brought. Nothing like this has ever happened in the United States of America. This is totally a third world, banana republic “thing.” What's important is that the public understands this, and that all legal scholars, experts and public figures understand this, including Andy McCarthy, Jonathan Turley, Alan Dershowitz, Mark Levin, Steven Calavesi, David Rivkin, Greg Jarrett, Katie and Andrew Cherkassky, Elie Honig and many other legal scholars, experts and public figures. I am very grateful that the judgment uses the words “if necessary” because there should never be a word “if necessary.” This case should be duly closed, and we are preparing for the most important election in the history of our country. Make America Great Again!
