Former Disney Channel star Christy Carlson Romano says she is grateful that she is alive after a serious accident has almost blinded her.

“So I shot my eyes. It wasn't funny. I'm safe,” Romano said in a video posted to her Instagram account.
In the video, the actress is seen with a severe bruise, scab just below her right eye. This is also red and bulging.
Despite telling her that she was OK, Romano told fans that at least one pellet was still behind her eyes and that the doctors weren't ready to remove it yet.
“I was shot here. It's still inside,” explained Romano. “We cleaned it up. We're so grateful for the entire first responder. That means they're the most amazing, superhero-like people who take care of us in our most hopeless times. is.”
“I could say I was shot in the face and I lived to tell stories,” she said, adding that everyone “please be grateful every day.”
In her Instagram caption, Romano added that there were others on the ground near her during the filming event, adding that they “shooted in the face in the wrong direction.”
She continued, “I was hit in five places, one less than an inch since hitting me directly with my right eye.”
Romano also praised her for rushing to a local hospital, saying that she “suddenly fell into action.”
“Unfortunately, the fragment remains behind my eyes and is too risky for surgically removal at this time. The doctor will continue to monitor me – I can see normally at this time “I'll do that,” she told her followers.
“Everything that happened is just how grateful I am to be alive,” Romano concluded. “I love my daughter, husband, family and friends. I watch my life flash in front of my eyes, I tell you, all the opportunities you can have around you I embrace people. Life can change very quickly.”
