Republican Lawmaker Questions DNC Insider Over Biden’s Cognitive Decline Allegations
A member of the House Oversight Committee is raising concerns about possible cover-ups regarding President Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities. This comes after insights from Lindy Li, a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider, who discussed her experiences during the Biden administration.
In an exclusive conversation, Li, a former fundraiser and National Finance Committee member, shared her perspective on the inner workings of the Biden presidency. She described how Biden himself, while complicit, was surrounded by a group of advisors who she believes orchestrated the narrative. “It’s like a puppet show,” she remarked, particularly calling out Jill Biden’s involvement as “elderly abuse,” and adding, “I have no doubt about that.”
Recently, Chairman James Comer of the House Committee on Surveillance and Government Reform issued a subpoena to Anthony Bernal, Biden’s former assistant and advisor to the First Lady, for a hearing on July 16.
Biden’s Cabinet Faces Scrutiny
Li contended that while officials deny any wrongdoing, she witnessed complicity first-hand, especially from individuals like Anthony Bernal, who she described as running the White House with undue authority. She claimed he has evaded accountability altogether.
Bernal had initially agreed to a voluntary interview with the committee on June 26 but later declined after being advised by the White House not to participate.
Li characterized Bernal’s role as significant, noting he had more influence in the East Wing than others in the West Wing. Additionally, she highlighted that Biden’s top aides, including Bruce Reed and Anita Dunn, held critical positions that shaped the administration’s decisions.
Fox News Digital reached out to these aides but received no response. Meanwhile, Neera Tanden, a former domestic policy advisor, testified last week about the use of an autopen—an automated signing tool used by past presidents—including when Biden was purportedly unfit for duty.
Tanden expressed confidence in her responses to the committee’s inquiries, stating, “I’m happy to discuss my public service,” emphasizing that she stood by her explanations.
Li noted a troubling parallel between Tanden’s reassurances and Jill Biden’s demeanor following her husband’s lackluster debate performance. She recalled Jill’s insistence after the debate that “you answered all the questions,” suggesting that there remains a substantial effort among Democrats to obscure concerns about Biden’s cognitive health.
Reflecting on her departure from the Democratic Party, Li admitted facing backlash from former allies, but she maintains that Jill Biden effectively leads in the White House. “Joe struggled with campaign events, so Jill stepped up, playing the role of both president and candidate,” she remarked, pointing out Jill’s media presence, including multiple Vogue covers.
As the political landscape evolves, the situation remains complex. With Biden’s withdrawal from the race and support for Vice President Kamala Harris, questions still linger regarding the implications of familial and political dynamics within the White House.
When asked for a reaction to Li’s claims, a former Biden aide simply replied, “Who is Lindy Li?”
