As the New York Jets' 2024 season, and his first full year as center, draws to a close, Aaron Rodgers' corner doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention.
Former New York Jets star linebacker Bart Scott took issue with Rodgers' performance after the team's 19-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Rodgers had 256 passing yards and one touchdown pass.

The problem stemmed from Rodgers trying to catch his 500th touchdown pass. Rodgers is one touchdown pass away from doing so, joining Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Tom Brady as the only players with at least 500 touchdown passes.
Rodgers said he wished Davante Adams had caught the pass in the third quarter that could have resulted in a touchdown. That ended a 13-play drive that lasted nearly 10 minutes.
Scott wasn't happy with the whole situation.
“I can't believe I drive for 10 minutes and nothing gets done,” Scott said on the show. SNY Post Game Show. “And that's because you're going after a record, right? It's a sentimental record. And you're deciding who gets your record. And I think that's despicable. I think so.”

Former Jets offensive lineman Willie Colon agreed with Scott's assessment.
The Jets were up 9-9 on downs. The next drive ended in a fumble, a turnover on downs and a missed field goal.
Rodgers warned his teammates after the game.
“I think we’re a little past the ‘keep it positive’ thing,” Rodgers said. Via SNY. “I think it’s just a matter of perspective. Perspective tells your truth, and your truth creates your reality.
“So the reality of the situation is what it is. But your perspective is something that can change every day. So what you focus on right now is what matters most, not changing the reality of the situation. They are out of the playoffs with 4 wins and 11 losses and are entering an unknown offseason.
Rodgers then talked about what the next two weeks mean for the future of the organization.

“You need to understand what it means to be a professional,” he said. “That's an important part of building a culture. You can really see over the last two weeks who's moving forward and who's ready to break out. It's just part of the game. I I've been on several teams that lost.'' It's interesting to see his practice habits and preparation habits.
