George Santos’ former staff involved in successor election
Nysa Woomer, a Republican strategist whose work includes work in the administrations of ousted Rep. George Santos and former Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, spoke to Fox News Digital about the special election in New York’s 3rd Congressional District.
Disgraced former congressman George Santos announced his latest cash cow on Monday by offering a video cameo with his drag queen alter ego “Kitara.”
“Guys, weren’t you ready for this drop? I decided to bring Kitara out of the closet for the first time in 18 years!” Santos, a Republican, posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Santos is offering a video featuring his drag alter ego, Kitara Lavash, for $350.
Santos has previously denied ever dressing up as or having any involvement with drag queens.

“The media’s current obsession with claiming that I am a drag queen or have been ‘played’ as a drag queen is completely false, even though I am trying to achieve results. “The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life,” Santos wrote in the article. Previous post about X.
Days after posting to X, Santos admitted to cross-dressing “for fun” at a party in Brazil, but denied performing as a drag queen.
According to the New York Post, Santos told reporters: “No, I wasn’t a drag queen in Brazil. I was young and I was having fun at festivals. Just because I was alive. Please sue me,” he said.
Santos said the campaign with Kitara will only last a few days, with 10% of the proceeds going to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which goes to first responders and veterans, and an additional 10% going to the Christian and Jewish International Foundation. He claimed that the money would be donated to a social group. .

This comes after Santos announced last week that he would end his independent campaign for re-election to the House of Representatives, less than two months after running for office.
Santos announced on social media Tuesday that he has decided to decline his bid to run as an independent in NY-1. “I don’t want my candidacy to be portrayed as revenge against Nick Larota.”
Santos was running to unseat Republican Rep. Nick Larota, who represents New York’s 1st Congressional District, after he was expelled from Congress earlier this year.

Santos was ousted a year into his first term in the House of Representatives following a damning House Ethics Committee report that found he misused campaign funds on luxury goods and OnlyFans.
Although he has not been convicted of a crime, he has been indicted on multiple charges related to wire fraud, identity theft, falsifying records, credit card fraud and other crimes. He pleaded not guilty.

Santos’ trial date is set for September 9, but prosecutors are asking the judge to postpone the trial to May or June.
Fox News Digital reached out to Santos for comment, but has not yet received a response.
