Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann called for the Supreme Court to be “disbanded” following Monday’s unanimous ruling against Colorado’s removal of former President Trump from the 2024 ballot.
“The Supreme Court has betrayed democracy. Members of the Supreme Court, including Jackson, Kagan, and Sotomayor, have proven incompetent in reading comprehension. And overall, the ‘Court’ has shown itself to be corrupt and illegitimate. The Supreme Court must be dissolved,” Olbermann posted on X.
A follower responded, “Are we going to dissolve the separation of powers to save democracy?” And Olbermann said, “If political prostitutes in the courts are overriding the very clear language of the Constitution to benefit one politician, then your ‘separation of powers’ is long gone. It must have disappeared a long time ago,” he argued.

The far-left media personality also assured conservatives who told him to “cry more”: “Those aren’t tears, fascists. They’re urine. I’m sure you enjoy being bathed in those tears.”
Olbermann also said in a video posted on social media that the Supreme Court is “betraying America once again.” All nine judges ruled in Trump’s favor in the case, which affects efforts in several other states to remove top Republican candidates from their respective ballots. It turns out.

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann called for the Supreme Court to be “disbanded” following Monday’s unanimous ruling for Colorado to exclude former President Trump from the 2024 ballot.
For the first time, the court considered the meaning and scope of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, which prohibits former officials “involved in rebellion” from holding public office again. More than 30 states have filed challenges to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot.
“We conclude that states may disqualify persons holding or seeking state office. However, states are constitutionally entitled to “There is no authority to enforce Article 3,” the court wrote.

In 2017, Olbermann was widely criticized after an anti-Trump book featured a photo of himself on the cover wearing an American flag visibly touching the ground. This is a violation of U.S. flag regulations.
He famously left ESPN ahead of the 2020 election to speak out against Trump on YouTube and social media.
