former NFL players Robert Quinn was arrested early Friday morning in South Carolina on suspicion of being involved in a hit-and-run involving multiple vehicles, according to reports.
The former Rams defensive end was taken into custody by North Charleston police around 2 a.m. after police say he tried to leave the scene of a crash he allegedly caused. FOX4 reported.

Quinn, 34, was booked into the Charleston County Jail on one count of leaving the scene of a crime and one count of reckless driving, according to online jail records.

According to reports, the incident took place at a car dealership. The North Charleston Fire Department was first on scene and told police that the suspect, later identified as Quinn, appeared to be leaving the scene in another vehicle.
FOX 4 reported that a pickup truck registered to Quinn crashed into the car, which then crashed into two other cars. Police said footage showed Quinn's truck veering off the road and eventually plowing into the dealership's premises.

The report said Quinn had visible injuries to her face and was slurring her speech. He was also said to be uncooperative with law enforcement and was eventually removed from his vehicle before being arrested.
Friday's arrest came just 18 months after the former NFL player was arrested in similar circumstances in August 2023. He was arrested on suspicion of hitting four cars before fleeing the scene. WMBF reported.

Quinn last played in the NFL during the 2022 season.
He was a first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, where he played most of his career. Rams. He was traded to Miami in 2018 and led the team with 6.5 sacks. The following season, he was traded to the Cowboys and once again led the team in sacks (11.5).
Quinn also played for the Bears and Eagles, who reached the Super Bowl in 2023.
