Ex-NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio speaks on shock Eric Adams indictment: ‘Two different feelings’

Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told CNN on Wednesday that he has “two reactions” to the shocking indictment of Eric Adams.

“They're probably going to sound a little bit different,” de Blasio said.

“I've been through a lot of things in the Southern District that didn't come to fruition despite suspicions. I think we have to be really careful. I haven't seen anything concrete.”

In 2021, Mayor de Blasio was accused in a scathing bureau report of misusing NYPD resources for “political purposes” during his failed presidential campaign.

He was subsequently fined $475,000, the largest amount ever.
