WEEI sports talk radio in Boston is making a series of dramatic moves.
The station’s parent company, Audacy, announced Wednesday that Andy Hart and Christian Arcand will be the new duo hosting the afternoon drive show from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., while Adam Jones and Rich Keef will “reunite” as co-hosts for the daytime show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This means that: As Chad Finn of the Boston Globe pointed out:The biggest problem is that Andy Gresh and Christian Fauria, who had previously appeared on the daytime show, have been dropped as part of this rotation.
Fauria enjoyed a 13-year career as an NFL tight end, including four seasons with New England, where he won two Super Bowls under the legendary Bill Belichick/Tom Brady system.
Jones previously co-hosted the daytime show with Megan Ottolini, who will remain at WEEI as a digital writer but will no longer host the daily show.
Keefe is the station’s evening host, but a replacement has yet to be named.
Audacy is also the parent company of New York sports talk giant WFAN.
“These exciting updates bring together some of the best talent in New England to continue delivering top-tier content to Boston’s passionate sports fans,” Mike Thomas, Audacy’s Boston regional leader, said in a statement.

“Adam Jones and Rich Keef’s exceptional on-air styles and rapport will energize our daytime programming, while Andy Hart and Christian Arcand’s experience will help elevate our afternoon programming. We look forward to this next chapter in WEEI’s weekday programming as it continues to be WEEI’s go-to place for all things Boston sports.”
