The former Texas teacher has been accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with students. It’s a few months after her own father was arrested on the same campus for allegedly being sexually abused.
Brooke Martinez, 30, was arrested in Ellis County on April 10th and charged with inappropriate relationships between an educator and a student. Martinez posted bail and was released from custody.
The student allegedly had a one-time sexual encounter with Martinez and also sent nude pictures of him, according to court documents.
Martinez was a teacher at Still Creek Christian Academy in Brazos County.

The school works with students in “crisis situations” from grades 4 to 12.
KBTX-TV Martinez reported in 2024 that she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with an 18-year-old student.
Texas Law School employees “prohibit sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or sexual intercourse from deviating from sexual intercourse with someone registered in a public or private primary or secondary school where the employee works… no matter what the person’s age.”
The school students are said to have notified school staff about their illegal relationship with the teacher.
The student allegedly had a one-time sexual encounter with Martinez and also sent nude pictures of him, according to court documents.
School staff notified the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office of the complaint.
Investigators interviewed Martinez in April, and court documents say she reportedly confirmed the relationship.
An official at Still Creek Christian Academy said in a statement: “We are heartbroken and disappointed by the allegations of encounters involving former teachers. The suspicious behavior is not in line with the high standards expected of teachers who are tasked with creating a protective and nurturing environment for their students.”
Shortly after the charges were revealed, Still Creek Christian Academy filed a report with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Family Protection Services. The school continues to support the investigation.
According to Still Creek Christian Academy, Martinez was reportedly “separated” from the school earlier this year.
KBTX reported that Martinez’s father was arrested in February on a child sex crime charge on the same campus that her daughter taught.
KBTX John Edward Martinez, 57, was arrested on February 7th and reported that he was charged with three counts of indecency with a child through sexual contact.

Deputies from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office interviewed Martinez. Martinez is said to have confirmed to investigators that he violated several rules at Still Creek Ranch since March 2024. Martinez argued that his actions were “grooming” and violated his employer’s rules, but he argued that he did nothing illegal.
However, court documents show that the teenager under 18 who was caring for Martinez told police he had groped her under her clothes.
The second teenager reportedly told investigators that the parents of the house would pay her to give him a massage.
“Deputies say they were scared of the teen saying no to Martinez, according to KBTX.
Still, Creek Ranch said, “We were deeply saddened to learn about the suspected behaviors involved by one of our parents in our previous home. It is our primary responsibility to provide safe shelter to our children in our care. We are not resistant to any behavior that violates our child’s safety policy.”
Still Creek Ranch officials notified law enforcement and Child Protection Services after child sexual abuse allegations surfaced.
