Ezekiel Elliott has agreed to a contract with the Chargers, allowing Los Angeles to deepen its running back depth for a wild-card showdown with the Texans, according to multiple reports.

He played one year in New England in 2023 and returned to Dallas this season on a one-year deal.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said in a statement after his release that the team released Elliott to give him a chance to play in the postseason.
