On a flight to New York, a foul-mouthed flyer berated Mayor Eric Adams, whined that he supported “Palestinian genocide” and scolded him for partying too much in a videotaped confrontation.
“Are you Eric Adams?” a woman asked the mayor as she boarded a flight from Miami on Monday. Video posted on X.
“Fuck you,” she yelled at Adams, who sat with raised eyebrows.
“You support genocide in Palestine. There are homeless people all over New York and you guys are always partying.”
Adams was on his way back from Miami, where he attended the 2024 Concordia Americas Summit and spoke about the Big Apple’s immigration crisis.
The video shows a man sitting next to Adams stand up and use his arm to guide the screaming woman down the aisle.
Mr. Adams points at the woman with his thumb and appears to say, “She can’t fly.”
All the while, the woman continued to scream at Adams about the city’s homeless problem and police budget.

“You don’t actually care about New Yorkers,” the flyer says.
“Why are we in Miami? Do you know there are people being arrested there? People are homeless in New York. People can’t afford food. Defund the police. All you care about is funding the police. Everything is underfunded because of you.”
Video shows that other people on the plane began yelling at the woman for delaying boarding, and that she eventually stopped yelling at the mayor.
Hizzoner flew to Miami on Sunday, attended a meeting on Monday and returned to New York City on Monday night, according to the mayor’s office.
Adams is known for hitting up popular nightclubs and upscale restaurants in the evenings after work at City Hall, and boasts that he only gets four hours of sleep.
But critics wonder how Mr. Hizzoner, with his $258,750 annual salary, can afford to frequent Zero Bond, a hip NoHo members-only club, and Osteria La Bahia, an upscale restaurant in Midtown. I have doubts.
The newspaper reached out to the mayor’s office for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
