A week starting tonight, the 2025 Formula 1 season will begin in an unprecedented way.

The upcoming 2025 F1 season marks the 75th day of sports history, and the year marks the first season release event in London's O2. On Tuesday, February 18th, all 10 F1 teams will meet to announce their livers for the upcoming season, introduce drivers and team principals, and celebrate the sport ahead of the anniversary campaign.

When Sports announced the event last November, the press release promised a immersive experience for Formula 1 fans.

“On an incredible night, fans are immersed in Formula 1 drama and spectacles, joining the team to announce the 2025 Livery and driver lineup for next season. Interactive events During this time, guests can also expect interviews with important figures in the sport, such as drivers, team principals, top entertainment and special guest presenters.”

F1 provided an update on Tuesday, one week before the unprecedented season-starting event, providing detailed information on what fans can expect and how they can see from around the world.

“Over 15,000 fans at the arena can enjoy incredible sights up close. Fans at home won't miss it, and will also be streamed for free on F1 social media channels, including YouTube. “It unveils the arrival of red carpets from drivers, team principals and celebrities, world-class act entertainment, and the extremely important colouring that will showcase cars from real to head towards the 2025 season.”

Additionally, F1 outlined that each team will have an opportunity during the public release of their liveries to showcase the “identity of each team” during the event.

“We have worked closely with Brian Burke Creative's creative visionary Brian Burke, and alongside Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design and Production Company 1826, each team has a creative way to make the colouring truly unique. The license was granted. Throughout the evening, fans are at the edge of their seats as they are caught in a journey celebrating the history of Formula 1 and introducing the identity of each team.”

However, in addition to next Tuesday event at O2, many teams will be holding their own events to launch Challengers for next season. For example, Williams, who announced Tuesday that software company Atlassian will be joining the team as title sponsor on a “multi-year” deal, will launch FW47 at an event at Silverstone on Friday.

“We are pleased to announce that we are committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of F1. “2025 is set to be the classic season following all the dramas of 2024, so this is a great opportunity for fans of all ages to overexpose Formula 1's incredible entertainment spectacle.”

“FIA is pleased to join FOM colleagues and all teams in staging the launch event for their first Formula One season,” said FIA president Mohammed Ben Slime last fall. “This opportunity will also serve as a proper prelude to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the sport throughout the 2025 season.”
