Revealing what you actually say when you swear is probably not the best strategy.
But Falcons safety Jessie Bates plans to do it anyway ahead of his team's “Sunday Night Football” showdown with the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Bates said all options are on the table, including the possibility of Kelsey's famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift, getting involved.
“I don't listen to Taylor Swift that much, but I have to respect what she's done with her career. And Travis… [Kelce]You have to have some respect for him.” “I was like, 'I'm not a racist,'” Bates said with a smile while appearing as a guest on “The Pac-Man Jones Show.”This week, he will be appearing on “The 1000 World Cup,” hosted by former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones.
“But when the clock is ticking and we're between those lines, I might get angry at times and say something crazy to him. It might involve Taylor, it might not. It's part of the game, a little bit of swearing.”
Bates is just giving his game away, so the swearing might not be all that effective, especially considering Kelsey has probably heard it all by now.
For 2024 Kelce, he had just four catches for 39 yards in two games, with the Chiefs winning both games.

Still, Kelsey said he isn't frustrated by his mediocre performance, but is aware of his slow start.
“A lot of times when I didn't have success I would get really upset and I would lose my cool. I knew I demanded it of myself and I like to play with accountability so it was hard for me to accept mediocre performances and the statistics that represented that,” Kelce said Wednesday on brother Jason Kelce's “New Heights” podcast.
