In a recent appearance on “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” Cousins said he will keep his No. 8 jersey after the league informed both Pitts and Cousins that they would have to sit out the game. He said that would have been an expensive decision. Covers jerseys that already exist.

”[Pitts] I wanted to change my number anyway, so it seemed like a perfect fit,” Cousins said.
“And the league talked about it. They were like, ‘Kyle Pitts has a bunch of No. 8 jerseys with Pitts on the back. We’re going to have to buy them all.’ .”
