Family importance: How VP Vance and his wife provide stability for their children in an unusual situation

JD Vance: I Knew This Would Happen

Vice President JD Vance has expressed his disapproval of the current administration’s efforts to address illegal immigration while also commenting on the reception regarding the “Big, Beautiful” bill during a recent “special report.”

In a recent exclusive interview, Vance shared insights about the adjustment of his family to life as a second family. He mentioned, “I’m trying to bring as much normalcy as possible to the kids during such unusual times.”

He noted that everyone seems to be coping well, saying, “My 7-year-old son Ewan is adjusting and he’s very aware of everything around him.” In contrast, he believes his 5-year-old son Vivek won’t notice much; for him, it’s all just an adventure, especially with Secret Service agents around to play with.

His youngest children, the three Mirabels, are oblivious to the changes, Vance said. He shared a picture of Mirabelle, which they displayed at home, showing her in pajamas while exploring topics about the Indian army.

Vance mentioned that the kids enjoy positive school environments and spend a lot of time at the White House. He remarked on their primary residence being the Naval Observatory, describing it as quite isolated but providing space for the children to play without constant surveillance.

On his wife, Vance noted that each second lady has her own approach, stating, “There’s no manual for this.” He added that Usha has focused on various issues, particularly her passion for arts through involvement with the Kennedy Center. Vance emphasized the importance of bringing a sense of normalcy to their kids as they navigate their unique circumstances.
