Famous Music Artist Camron Explains Bizarre CNN Appearance, Slams The Media

New York rapper Cam’ron appeared on the “It Is What It Is” podcast on Wednesday, during which he explained his bizarre interview with CNN on Monday night.

The now-viral video shows Newsnight presenter Abbie Phillip questioning Cam’ron, whose real name is Cameron Giles, about a series of lawsuits filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, as well as a recently resurfaced video of him punching his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in 2016.

The rapper ignored questions and remained aloof throughout the show. At one point, he ignored the questions and chugged down a bottle of Pink Horse Power, a male sexual enhancement drink. “Sorry, I think this Horse Power will make you blush,” said Cam’ron, who appears to be associated with the brand.

Cam’ron also told Phillippe that he didn’t know why he was booked to speak about Diddy and asked someone off-screen who arranged for him to appear.

During a podcast appearance on Wednesday, Cam’ron said he had little insight to offer on Diddy, despite being asked repeatedly about the disgraced hip-hop mogul.

“Whatever Didi goes through…I don’t support the video. I don’t believe in domestic violence. I don’t believe in anything to do with pedophiles. I don’t believe in sex trafficking. What I saw on the video was terrible and the charges are not valid. [are] “They’re a mess. They’re really a mess,” he said.

The rapper then walked away midway through being brought in to discuss a subject that had nothing to do with his personal experience.

“I don’t know why they haven’t watched ’60 Minutes,’ they haven’t watched Bill O’Reilly. This is what I do to their joints,” Cam’ron said. The rapper has appeared on both shows before, and while he has made fun of O’Reilly at times, he generally seemed to take the interviews seriously.

“You keep inviting me to Fox and CNN and 60 Minutes, and you already know what kind of background I have on those shows. But yeah, that’s what happened.” he said on the podcast.

Cam’ron was honest about how he feels about the barrage of questions about Diddy and accused the network of focusing on negative news.

“I know we play around and joke around a lot, but you guys call us out there for that, and don’t invite us to talk about positive shit,” he said, noting that the interview was set up at such short notice. “You could have pulled up all the different positive things that we do, and then you’re like, you’re going to play games. That’s what you got!”

During the CNN interview, Phillips asked Diddy to comment on the numerous allegations against him, including sex trafficking and rape, and Cam’ron said he had no personal knowledge of the matter, despite being part of the New York rap scene since the early 1990s.

“Did you recognize any of that anger from your experience?” Phillips asked Cam’ron while referencing Kathy Ventura’s video during the segmentation.

After some replies, he took action and refused to cooperate. (RELATED: Former model Crystal McKinney accuses Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting her in new lawsuit)

“Who is the talent agent for this joint?” he asked. “Do you think I’m going to sit and watch Diddy?” I didn’t know this was the Diddy joint you guys had invited me to. ”

“Who booked me into this joint?” he added, looking off camera. “You guys are wild.”
