Canada and the US are scheduled to face off in tonight's grim match, and fans can't believe how much ticket prices have risen.
The 4 Nations Face Off Championship Game won viewers for the game for the 10-year period after the Americans defeated Canada 3-1 last Saturday. Three fights in the first nine seconds of the game brought rivalries to a boil, then pushing ticket resale to Max at Boston's TD Garden.
It spans three most popular reselling sites: SeatGeek, StubHub and Ticketmaster. At the time of writing, it is at least $837 USD. It was provided By Stubhub. SeatGeek has several options between its price and $1,000 (though I have a nosebleed), but fans won't enter the building through Ticketmaster for under $1,000.
Tickets in that range were like pancakes all morning, but the tendency for resellers to post “non-progress” prices has a dollar figure that anyone can convince them to see from home. It indicates that there is.
Ticketmaster's highest resale price was $10,000, but at SeatGeek, a single ticket holder tried to give up a seat in the fourth row for $12,890. StubHub won the award for most outrageous resale prices, but sold a cool $14,458, selling worse seats towards the back of the bowl below (row 21).
“What is this, Leafs game?”
Online fans have been pleased with the ticket prices for a few weeks now. Prices have skyrocketed It was shortly after the two teams took off their gloves three times.
One fan claimed that his friend had got his ticket $250another person claimed that $150 was before his tournament. Fee.
“Smart people like me got a small portion of that price before the tournament,” another fan pride.
Others called the ticket price.”Unusual“Some I found comfort I knew it was still cheaper than seeing Taylor Swift in a concert.
Resale of tickets to such a big event has become a huge business that can inflate prices, but unfortunately for fans north of the border, these prices are in the Canadian market like the Toronto Maple Leafs. It seems too typical for the team.
For example, the 11th row tickets to the Leafs game against the Carolina Hurricanes this Saturday are being resold as much as a whopping $1,488. Cheap single seats also sell between $400 and $600, but keep in mind that fans aren't too excited about the Hurricane coming to town. Games against the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins or other rivals are usually even higher.
The game will air tonight on ESPN, ESPN+ and Disney+ on 8pm ET.
