“I will not #DontStreamOnMax because they sell ‘quality’ while cancelling the most critically acclaimed and diverse programming in favor of lower-rated shows from major IP. HBO was once a prestige channel but is now leading the death of TV,” one user wrote.
I #Don’t stream on Max Because they talk about “quality” while canceling the most critically acclaimed and diverse shows and replacing them with underperforming shows from major IP. I #Don’t stream on Max Because they strategically canceled shows after the second season to avoid paying royalties, shelved completed works for tax write-offs, and reversed a long and rich history of pushing creative boundaries to make cheesy, unscripted crap for homophobic white men. pic.twitter.com/ar8yua1rzM
