The father of the 14-year-old boy suspected in the Apalachee High School attack was arrested Thursday and charged with manslaughter and other offenses.
CBS News Reported Collin Gray, 54, is accused of giving his son an AR-15 rifle “as a gift” in December 2023, law enforcement sources said.
The specific charges against the father are: four counts of negligence resulting in death, two counts of second-degree murder,

Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) attention The charges “arise out of Mr. Gray knowingly permitting his son to possess a weapon.”
The GBI called on communities across the state to encourage “students across the state to contact their school staff if they notice anything suspicious.”
The 14-year-old boy arrested in the Apalachee High School shooting has been charged with four counts of felony murder.
Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith announced at a press conference Thursday night that the nine people injured in the attack are expected to “fully recover.”
Breitbart News reported that the 14-year-old attacker was stopped by a good man with a gun: a deputy working as a school resource officer.
