Fauci Granted Immunity Amid Controversy
President Joe Biden has granted Dr. Anthony Fauci full immunity for any actions he may have been involved in from January 1, 2014, until the date of the pardon. This really raises some questions.
When Fauci faced Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) for Senate testimony today, he had two main options: either tell the truth or invoke the Fifth Amendment, which could lead to contempt charges if he chose the latter.
Interestingly, Fauci didn’t just pick one and risk legal consequences; he also left supporters scrambling without the arguments they need to address some sensitive diary entries.
Now, instead of just being honest and, you know, avoiding any potential legal trouble, Fauci chose to expose himself to contempt by remaining silent. This is quite peculiar, considering obtaining Fifth Amendment protection is generally a strategy for those already in legal peril. His testimonies from the pardon’s timeframe didn’t actually put him at any risk.
It makes you wonder—what’s so damaging that Fauci would prefer facing legal risks instead of sharing the truth, which would be safe?
Picture a person so reluctant to disclose the facts that they’d rather take those risks.
This reluctance could have serious implications for his loyal followers. They were counting on him to clarify things and defend his actions. We’re talking about people who have idolized Fauci, holding candles, buying action figures, and even decorating cakes in his honor.
And then there was that problematic diary.
The content within it revealed that Fauci misled his fans, deceived them, and even exploited their admiration to boost his finances and feed his apparent narcissism.
In response to the diary’s revelations, his supporters cried out, “There must be a logical explanation! We need Dr. Fauci to testify and set the record straight!”
His followers expected him to reconcile public statements with private diary entries and present a reasoned argument against Rand Paul’s questioning.
But in reality, he left them in the lurch. Fauci chose to avoid clarity, stating he would rather face contempt charges than provide straightforward answers, essentially admitting he couldn’t defend his actions.
For the past six years, I’ve tried to engage in scientific discussions to debunk the theories of skeptics, but this time felt different. This time, he was cornered by his own diary, leaving his followers without the explanations they so desperately needed.
And, honestly, it’s been quite the spectacle.
