FBI Warning on Left-Wing Tactics Targeting ICE Agents

In February, the Chicago branch of the FBI issued a memo highlighting a group of left-wing women using dating platforms to target ICE agents, intending to lure them into compromising situations.

According to the memo, one approach includes adopting fake identities resembling that of a “traditional wife.”

“These profiles often feature imagery associated with a ‘traditional wife’ aesthetic, listing specific interests meant to attract individuals in law enforcement,” the FBI memo states. “The goal was to entice law enforcement personnel into either online or face-to-face interactions under the pretense of a date, after which these individuals would be publicly exposed and doxxed.”

The memo further notes that this tactic aims to create public embarrassment and to dissuade immigration enforcement efforts.

While the honey traps pose a serious concern, the skepticism from some left-leaning media outlets persists, questioning the validity of the threat despite clear evidence.

The far-left New Republic quoted the executive director of Property of the People—the outlet that first brought the memo to light—who commented, “It’s ridiculous that the FBI issued a poorly supported security alert regarding ICE agents’ online dating issues. It’s equally absurd to think taxpayer funds are being spent to shield ICE agents from potential ‘embarrassment’ caused by a so-called ‘small group of women’ who might expose and ridicule them online.”

This begs the question, what’s going on?

The Guardian, also from the left, shared the same quote, featuring additional commentary from a former FBI agent who remarked, “The right-wing echo chamber generates threats, and the government’s intelligence framework merely echoes these threats without proper context, detail, or guidance on how agents or officers should respond. They must be out of other threats to address.”

However, the memo was reportedly informed by a New York Post article from January that documented “left-wing TikTok users organizing groups of women to gather compromising images of ICE agents in a bizarre scheme, especially as attacks on immigration officers reach unprecedented levels.”

Interestingly, a TikTok user admitted to being part of a group executing such tactics. She shared, “I’m part of a group of about 20 or so women from MA doing this. We manage a private Facebook group with around 1,000 members. Some of us go on dates, and others assist with background checks and information gathering.”

In a viral post, another TikTok user called on her peers on Tinder, Bumble, and Grindr to screenshot any suspected ICE agent profiles for a project she was compiling to expose every agent in the state.

She even encouraged others to “Get those dick pics and selfies and share them widely!”

So, we have a TikTok user going viral, rallying women to ensnare ICE agents, claiming she’s part of a group actively engaged in this endeavor; and yet, media voices, including a former FBI agent, contend the FBI is exaggerating.

One might reasonably wonder, why wouldn’t the FBI address such a potential threat?

In environments like Breitbart News, everyone looks out for one another, warning about phishing tactics. It’s just standard practice—protecting colleagues and the workplace. Neglecting to notify law enforcement about a possible danger would indeed be a failure of responsibility.

Regarding the actions of these women, it’s perplexing to consider how one could devote so much effort towards ruining an individual whose only wrongdoing is striving to apprehend serious criminals. In their narrative, these women cast themselves as champions, supposedly safeguarding society, while prioritizing the exposure of those seeking to enforce laws that protect the innocent.
