Epstein’s Death Investigated by FBI Deputy Director

On Wednesday, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stated that the files related to Jeffrey Epstein provide no evidence suggesting anything other than suicide as the cause of his death.

Bongino shared these insights during a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity as speculation around possible foul play in Epstein’s prison death continues to circulate.

“The evidence in the files clearly indicates it was a suicide. There’s a video, although it’s not very comprehensive. I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but it does show him entering that block and making a call. You’ll see a security guard checking him out and then coming back,” Bongino explained.

He further emphasized, “There is nothing in the file that suggests anything other than suicide.”

Epstein, a financier, passed away in 2019 while he was awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking.

In addition to discussing Epstein, Bongino touched on various matters during his appearance, including the FBI’s reassessment of its priorities. “We are not here for nonsense,” he asserted.

When asked whether the American public would eventually learn about the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, he responded, “Absolutely.”

Bongino indicated that he has called for a re-examination of the Epstein case, expressing confidence in their investigative team.

Shifting the conversation, he also addressed the August 2022 raid on Mar-A-Lago, where FBI agents collected 33 boxes of documents. This raid has sparked considerable controversy, especially surrounding Donald Trump’s legal challenges involving felony counts related to espionage and justice interference.

“We’ve found some pretty alarming items,” he remarked about the investigation into the documents.

On the topic of whether there is a discrepancy in how federal prosecutors approach cases involving figures like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, Bongino noted the potential threats facing the country are “serious.”

He continued, expressing frustration with people dismissing the severity of certain cases, particularly regarding a recent incident involving cocaine at the White House. “This is a significant issue,” he argued, underscoring the urgency of addressing substance concerns.

Bongino concluded, “I keep thinking about these issues, and honestly, it can keep me up at night.”
