FBI Investigating Armored Truck Heist in Chicago Area

Federal authorities are on the lookout for a group of men linked to the theft of an armored truck outside a bank in the Chicago vicinity.

The incident took place in Blue Island, Illinois, just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the FBI in Chicago.

Three males, reportedly in their late teens to early twenties, were photographed with handguns aimed at the vehicle during the robbery.

The suspects reportedly fled in a car and remained at large as of Sunday afternoon.

Authorities noted that one of the individuals was dressed in dark attire, complete with gloves and a black face covering.
