FBI Offers Reward for Information on Shooting Incident
The FBI has announced a $50,000 reward for information regarding a suspect who allegedly shot at a federal investigator on a marijuana farm in California.
A tweet was shared Friday morning stating that the reward would go to anyone providing details that lead to the conviction of a man “appearing to fire a pistol at federal law enforcement officials” at the cannabis farm around 2 PM on Thursday.
According to ABC7, helicopter footage shows a masked protester firing at federal agents as they attempted to manage a protest during an ICE operation at the farm.
The protest was against immigrant raids targeting Glasshouse Farm’s licensed cannabis operation. Authorities reported rescuing 10 boys from the site, eight of whom were unaccompanied minors, as noted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott.
A spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security mentioned that ICE and CBP law enforcement rescued eight at-risk migrant children from potential exploitation or human trafficking during the operation at the California marijuana facility.
