FBI Shows Up To Oklahoma Woman’s House, Questions Her About Social Media Posts: REPORT

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents have launched an investigation in Oklahoma to investigate social media posts, Fox News reported Saturday.

Laura Abdel-Jawad reported a surprise visit from FBI agents regarding her social media activity. according to On Fox News. Investigators reportedly went to her home after receiving an alert from Facebook and asked about her posts. Ms. Abdel-Jawad attempted to verify the agent’s identity by asking her to show her badge on her camera, but in one conversation she shared her own experience. video It was uploaded to social media platform X by her lawyer, Hassan Sibley.

“Facebook provided us with some screenshots of your account,” one of the agents said in the video. To which Abdel-Jawad replied: “So does that mean we can’t say what we want because we no longer live in a free country?” “No, you’re absolutely right,” said another agent in a red shirt.

“We do this all day, every day. It’s just an effort to keep everyone safe and make sure no one has any ill will,” one of the agents told the woman.

In his caption, Sibley advised the public on what to do in these situations. “The right thing for her to do is: 1. Refuse to talk to them without a lawyer. 2. Refuse to let them into her home. 3. Document the interaction,” the lawyer wrote to Ms. Ta. “What she did wrong: 1. She leaves her house. The specific posts that came to the attention of the FBI are unknown. Still, Abdel-Jawad’s outspoken posts about the Gaza conflict, criticism of Israel and support for Palestine are well documented on her Facebook page, according to Fox News.
