FBI Launches Billboard Campaign for Missing Nancy Guthrie

The FBI has initiated a billboard campaign aimed at finding Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for ten days. This effort is focused on gathering “key information” that could lead to her safe return.

A spokesperson for the FBI in Houston mentioned that the multi-state campaign includes billboards in cities such as Phoenix, Albuquerque, Los Angeles, El Paso, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. The goal is to increase public awareness of the situation. The spokesperson noted, “We want to raise as much public awareness as possible. Our billboard presence extends across several states surrounding Arizona, and we’re hopeful it will yield vital information.” Clear Channel has collaborated with the FBI by providing billboard space.

Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, who co-hosts NBC’s “Today,” was reportedly taken from her home in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood near Tucson at around 2:30 a.m. on February 1. As of now, no suspects or persons of interest have been identified in her disappearance.

There was a ransom note sent to TMZ last week which hinted that Nancy might not still be in Tucson. According to a report from Harvey Levin of TMZ, the note suggests she could be on the West Coast or possibly in northern Mexico.

The FBI has also announced a reward of $50,000 for any information that leads to her recovery or the capture of those involved in her abduction.

Anyone with potential information is urged to reach out to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, as no detail is considered too minor to report.
