FBI uncovers thousands of undisclosed records connected to JFK’s assassination

The FBI has revealed thousands of records related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy as a result of President Donald Trump's executive order to release the files.

Axios first reported that the FBI released the assassination of Kennedy, a record of 2,400 linked on November 22, 1963.

Trump signed an executive order Thursday aimed at declassifying government documents regarding the assassination of President JFK, his brother and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy and civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. did. (AP News)

When the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) submitted plans to release the JFK file, it reportedly revealed the existence of the record.

Fox News confirmed with anyone familiar with the record that the file was discovered during review.

The FBI did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the issue of Fox News.
