Conservative artist Scott Robaid was arrested Wednesday for allegedly throwing a pizza onto the grounds of New York’s City Hall, video footage shows.
Robaid was seen outside New York City Hall with a group of protesters on Wednesday morning, explaining why they were throwing pizza. Video footage posted on Twitter captured Robaid’s speech criticizing the mayor and government officials for new green energy regulations for small pizza business owners as crime continues to rise. “First of all, I will protect to the death these men and women in blue,” Robaid told a group of protesters. “They have to do their job because of all the shit they have to do here, okay? I’m throwing pizza because these pigeons are hungry. I’m here to feed the fucking pigeons, okay? Guys, we understand what’s going on here.”

“This city, this mayor, this governor, this city council, this DA’s office is destroying this shitty city and destroying small mom-and-pop businesses,” Robaid continued. “This is also an example of pizza. The conservative artist warned the group that if they participated in the act, they would be arrested for littering. The footage shows that after Robaid threw his first few slices, a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer standing nearby quickly jumped in and arrested him.
