Blaze News was fired Tuesday by Mary Commans, the chief financial officer of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
“FEMA sent $509 million to a luxury hotel in New York City last week to house illegal immigrants,” said Elon Musk, the government's director of efficiency.
“The shooting will include FEMA's Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts and one grant expert.”
“Sending this money violates the law and is a terrible disobedience to the president's executive order,” he added.
Musk argued that the funds were allocated to “American disaster relief” and not intended to be “followed at high-end hotels for illegals.”
Cameron Hamilton, FEMA director of acting, has pledged to suspend payments and ensure that those involved are “being responsible.”
Reports surfaced Tuesday morning that four FEMA employees were fired for “averting leadership” by distributing funds. However, the names of the workers were not immediately revealed.
The Department of Homeland Security wrote on Tuesday statement“Instantly effectively, FEMA will end the employment of four individuals to avoid leadership and unilaterally pay the terrible payments of luxury NYC hotels for immigrants. To fire, FEMA's best It includes a financial director, two program analysts and one grant expert.”
