Kamala Harris just announced that Hurricane Helen victims will be able to apply to FEMA for a whopping $750 to buy essential items, proving once again that Americans are at the bottom of this country.
“How many billions of dollars have gone abroad? …How many billions of dollars have we sent to Ukraine?” asks glenn beckadded that U.S. taxes are also “paying for some of the costs.” [Ukraine’s] For small and medium-sized businesses to remain open, and for the country's social security.
In addition, “immigrants received $2,500,” plus “a free cell phone,” plus “food, water, and shelter.”
But “750 big things are going to be yours. All you need is no house, no job, no roads, no school for your kids,” Glenn scoffs, pointing out that America's tax dollars are wasted on everything. He pointed out the clear disregard for the people. but America's needs.

As for FEMA's claim that it lacks funds, Glenn doesn't buy it.
“First of all, you're the U.S. government. You're not going to run out of money. You're just going to print more. You're doing it all over the world,” he says. “There are three states where entire sections have been destroyed. There are people trapped in the mountains without food, water, electricity or phone service. God only knows how many people are still dying today.”
Despite this, when asked to dispatch the National Guard, his first response was, “We have dispatched the National Guard overseas.”
The National Guard has since been called in to assist states affected by the hurricane, but Glenn is appalled by the lack of consideration for Americans suffering.
“There are other states that have National Guard troops,” he noted. “What they are doing here in America to the people who are supposed to work and serve them is extremely offensive.”
The government's response to Hurricane Helen is so alarming that Glenn says there's really only one thing we can do: an incredibly powerful act of faith.
