Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. In an interview with Paul Tuesday, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) responded to safety concerns regarding allowing biological men in women’s sports in light of the Payton McNabb case and the state’s lawsuit over the Trump administration’s push to drive biological men out of women’s sports.
Host Amy Hocklet said, “What do you think of people like Riley Gaines? Are there videos of girls and women we saw, sometimes balls breaking her face and physically hurting volleyball players circulating?
“I really just have to go back to what Minnesota laws say. I’ll leave you, your viewers and others to discuss what happened in one video,” Ellison said.
He added, “The basis for the lawsuit is to try and stop the federal government from the top, from bullying children and children in our state. That’s our goal.”
