The Republican National Committee's (RNC) recent lawsuit in Pennsylvania is designed to prevent Democrats from pulling any further stunts when it comes to ensuring election integrity, said RNC Chairman Michael. Whatley said during an appearance on the show. Breitbart News Daily.
Whatley told host Mike Slater about one of the RNC's recent actions, which involved Bucks County ignoring state law by counting mail-in ballots with undated or incorrect dates. It is noteworthy that Whatley announced on Monday that “the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has once again ruled that undated ballots cannot be counted.”
Prior to the ruling, Whatley said the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and federal courts had been “very clear.”
“Pennsylvania law requires mailed ballots to be dated and sent by Election Day in order to be counted, and Bucks County is committed to “We're going to go ahead and count the ballots even if they arrive at the airport. This is against the law, so we're going back to court and basically asking them to follow the law,” Whatley wrote in the ruling. He said earlier on Friday that he expected the court to act “very quickly.”
Whatley explained that there is still no path to victory over incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pennsylvania) in the Keystone State. Whatley said he doesn't think Democrats are trying to make quick policy moves to somehow make Casey the winner. Rather, they are setting a dangerous precedent.
“Well, I don't think they're necessarily trying to win this time. What they're trying to do is set a precedent for these votes to be counted in the future, because Casey really has no right at this point. Because there's no way. They're in the middle. You know, there's going to be a recount next week. It's an automatic trigger recount that he could have waived. …He's up by 30,000 votes. “And I've never seen a recount that reversed such a large margin. But he's going ahead with it, and he's also trying to challenge these kinds of individual votes,” Whatley explained.
“There's no way he can win. We absolutely want to make sure that in this election and in all future elections, every county in Pennsylvania is required to follow Pennsylvania law.” added.

The Bucks County Republican Party celebrated a legal victory this week.
“We Won! The Pennsylvania Supreme Court today orders that all 67 PA county election boards must follow previous rulings and not count misdated or undated ballots. ” they wrote on Monday.
“This is a victory for election integrity and the rule of law,” they said. “I will continue to be careful and do my best!”
