ESPN host Stephen A. Smith has been torn by Democrats on Wednesday since President Donald Trump took office, urging American voters to “do their job” during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Even when Secret Service Director Sean Curran qualified Devaljay “DJ” Daniel during his speech and received a hug from a 13-year-old Houston area resident fighting brain cancer, Democrats remained seated and rarely praised during Trump's 99-minute address on March 4th. Smith said Democrats should be looking for a way to reach a “deal” with Trump. “I don't consider myself a part of the Democrat. I'm very embarrassed of what I've seen from them over the past few years, and I've said it in front of your face and many others on many occasions. I thought that the actions of some Democrats during Trump's speech last week were shameful. I thought –” Smith said before Hannity asked. Wait a minute and let me try. Some? Who was standing for the first lady? Who was standing for Reken Riley's mother? ”

The speech video showed that many Democrats failed to protect Daniel in their speech. multiple Social media An account states that when Daniel was introduced by Trump, Michigan Democrat Debbie Dingel rolled her eyes.
“No, sorry, but we were talking about being put out and being criticized. I was talking about not standing in Laken Riley. I was talking about not standing for a boy who is a cancer patient,” Smith said. “I mean, my God, that's just pathetic. But I didn't see some representatives – for example, Hakeem Jeffries, the leader of the minority, he sat there, what you had and acted professionally.”
During Trump's speech he was kicked out, only 10 Democrats voted to denounce Texas Democrat Al Green for his actions.
Smith was also aiming for a democratic message, including a March 5 video similar to the character selection screen for the “Street Fighter” video game Franchise That influencer, Suhee Jessica Wu Posted On Instagram.
“I don't know who came up with the dance video. I don't know who Hell came up with, but there's nothing real about 22 representatives saying the same message, and at the same time, it was the same old, the same old one. It was an absolute dishonor,” Smith said. “I don't know who came up with it. Then we have to consider some of the other things we saw from them. Ultimately, it shows just how detached they are.”
“But here's why there's hope, Sean Hannity. I'll tell you why there's hope. You have people like me, so I don't think I'm alone, so it's ready to wipe out the damn party,” Smith continued. “What we've seen from them doesn't resonate. It's not working anymore, we're not falling on Okey-Doke, we're not buying what they're selling. At the end of the day, they have to stand up and step up and show that people are ready to do the work that sent them to the country's capital. That's what they do in any administration during their tenure.” (Related: CNN hosts quickly switch topics after asking the panel to name one DEM that Scott Jennings is “popular” than Trump)
Democrats are heavily opposed to the ongoing resolution that will fund the government until September, as only the Democrat Senator from Pennsylvania say he will vote publicly if he votes for the measure.
“I know they don't like the fact that Donald Trump is in office, but his name is Donald Trump, the 47th president of the United States. And, like you told me on many occasions, if there's nothing else, then the guy is all about making a deal,” Smith said. “Find the deal he's happy to make and make it happen. Understand that.”
