Murder Outside Long Island Yacht Club

A man fatally stabbed outside a popular yacht club in Long Island had a chilling premonition just moments before the attack, officials revealed on Tuesday. Christopher Millwater, aged 52, confronted Victor Panebianco, 32, asking, “Are you going to stab me?” as prosecutors described in court. This encounter occurred on November 10 in a parking lot near the Stony Brook Yacht Club, where Panebianco allegedly stabbed Millwater twice in vital areas, including the heart and lungs.

Authorities indicated that a struggle ensued, with Millwater overpowering Panebianco for a moment, even managing to use a knife against him while calling out for assistance. Meanwhile, Millwater’s ex-girlfriend, Casey Corso, 33, observed the ordeal unfold and reportedly urged her new boyfriend not to believe what he was doing, saying, “don’t fool me,” according to prosecutors.

After the attack, Panebianco allegedly kicked Millwater in the head before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.

Following the incident, the couple drove back to their home in North Carolina. It’s noted that they had gone to Long Island with intentions to confront Millwater, especially as Corso was persistently reaching out to him, despite his lack of interest in her advances.

Recently, Panebianco was extradited to Suffolk County and charged with murder. Both he and Corso have pleaded not guilty and are set to appear in court on January 13 and 14, respectively.
