Following the identification of fraud and corruption at the U.S. International Development Agency by the government’s Department of Efficiency, the Trump administration took significant action by terminating nearly all of the agency’s 10,000 employees. This move is part of a broader strategy to dismantle the agency and transfer its responsibilities to the State Department.
“Remember, USAID was essentially a front for the CIA,” stated Glenn Beck. “This organization has been part of a global movement with the aim to disrupt nations.”
Recent reports indicate that some of these dismissed employees could be planning to employ similar tactics to challenge President Trump’s authority and instigate shifts in the regime.
Glenn’s co-host, Stu Burguiere, commented on how some individuals, who were let go from USAID, might be attempting to undermine Trump’s power, leveraging the skills and experience they’ve accumulated over the years.
An anonymous source, currently a federal employee, mentioned, “Our experience in authoritarian regimes showed us how to distribute aid, though their recent actions are a misstep.”
“They’re essentially suggesting that they are organizing to change our government,” Glenn discussed further.
This situation is becoming increasingly complex, with former USAID staff reportedly organizing workshops on tactics like non-cooperation. They are said to be creating a network of government employees ready to engage in small acts of defiance in their workplaces. Interestingly, they are sharing old CIA materials with allies still active in government, reportedly titled “simple sabotage.”
Glenn expressed skepticism, stating, “There are Democrats who are convinced that USAID will harm vulnerable populations. Trump is now labeling these aid workers as part of a revolutionary movement,” he remarked.
He noted this doesn’t surprise him given the left’s historical reputation for inciting uprisings. Glenn referenced several recent news incidents that support his point.
