After learning that musicians like Martina McBride and Bret Michaels won’t perform at the upcoming Freedom 250 concert, it seems the White House is in a bit of a bind trying to find replacements.
Honestly, how do you even fill the space of someone who starred in “Rock of Love” for three seasons?
No need to worry, though. I’ve compiled a list of five top-tier artists who would likely embrace the opportunity to cater to Donald Trump’s vision for America’s 250th birthday, and they’d definitely know how to put on a show.
Now, not everyone on this list is a fervent Trump supporter. However, they all share a love for the USA and might not mind accepting an invitation to perform at Freedom 250.
5. Kid Rock
Let’s kick it off with a familiar name. Kid Rock isn’t exactly known for holding back his opinions, especially when it comes to liberal critics.
He’s been involved with Turning Point USA’s Super Bowl Alternative Halftime Show, so having his name associated with political events is not out of the ordinary.
I’d pay quite a bit to see Kid Rock bring Trump up on stage for “Bawit Daba,” but honestly, that might break the internet.
If the White House is contemplating who to invite to replace the artists who have bowed out of next month’s festivities, Kid Rock should definitely be at the top of the list.
4. Megadeth
Another bold voice is Dave Mustaine, the frontman of Megadeth.
He’s been vocal about his views on various issues. Although he considers himself politically homeless, he has expressed admiration for Trump in the past, especially during the 2016 election when he faced backlash for voicing support for anti-Hillary sentiments.
He’d likely jump at the chance to perform at a significant event like Freedom 250—it would be fun to see him rock out on “Hangar 18” while fireworks light up the sky.
3. Lil Wayne
You can’t have rock and metal acts without adding a touch of rap, right?
While many might think of Nicki Minaj as the pick due to her support for Trump, I’m leaning toward Lil Wayne instead.
Honestly, I’m not sure where Wayne stands politically these days, but he hasn’t jumped on the typical leftist bandwagon that many of his contemporaries seem to ride.
Plus, there’s that presidential pardon Trump granted Wayne back in 2021 for some serious charges. I’d imagine he’d love to show gratitude by performing. Can you picture him belting out “Lollipop” for a live audience?
2. Kiss
If you haven’t heard, Gene Simmons of KISS is a staunch conservative who’s quite friendly with Trump. It only makes sense for KISS to take the stage during Freedom 250.
The band tends to follow Simmons’ lead, so I doubt there would be any hesitation from the others to participate.
Imagine a concert called “KISS: Alive V From The White House.” That album would fly off the shelves!
1. Ted Nugent
And then there’s the ever-controversial Ted Nugent. His right-wing views and nonchalant attitude make him a prime candidate for this event.
The more polarized his opinions, the more likely he is to say yes to an invitation. It’s almost as if he’s already in line for Freedom 250.
Nugent would be a solid addition, delivering hits like “Stranglehold” or even organizing a reunion with his Damn Yankees bandmates, who may quietly share similar views.
I’ve attended a Nugent concert before, and it was quite the experience—unexpectedly shocking yet perfect for celebrating America’s history.
