John Cusack Criticizes Flags as Symbols of Genocide

Actor John Cusack recently expressed on Bluesky that the flags of Israel and the United States symbolize “genocide” for some individuals.

He stated, “I believe in justice, human rights, and the dignity of all people, and I oppose hatred and prejudice towards any group based on race, religion, identity, and ethnicity. For many, state flags represent significant ideals,” he explained.

There’s been quite a stir around his comments, which some consider increasingly extreme, reflecting the polarizing rhetoric of the Trump era. Recently, he faced scrutiny for posting what some deemed anti-Semitic memes in criticizing Israel.

According to reports, “Radical left-wing actor John Cusack has posted an anti-Semitic message that received backlash even on the left-leaning social media platform Bluesky. Following the criticism, Cusack promptly deleted the post.”

In that deleted post, he controversially linked Secretary of State Antony Blinken with convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

This idea that Epstein and Maxwell were agents of the Israeli intelligence is an unfounded claim that has circulated widely.

Recently, Cusack also referred to Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as Nazis, criticizing their treatment of legal immigrants in schools.

He commented, “These ICE agents, who are aligning with the likes of Trump and Miller, are causing fear among legal immigrants, essentially terrorizing them,” describing it as “Pure Nazi Lawlessness.”
