Flailing Democrats Urged to Consider Swapping ‘Young’ Hillary Clinton for Biden

As Democrats publicly and privately despair over the diminishing chances of President Joe Biden returning to the White House in 2024, some of their allies believe there is a ready-made alternative to the octogenarian president on the horizon.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, a two-time presidential loser, is stepping forward. Pablo Ohana said she is “an experienced, knowledgeable and adaptable candidate.” Opinion articles The Hill reported on Saturday.

He argues that the former Secretary of State’s strengths are not only his experience, but also his youth at 76 years old, stating in the article:

First, let us be clear that Clinton is younger than Biden and Trump. Given the current furor over age, this is no trivial fact. Energy and stamina are synonymous with competence.

Clinton is the perfect successor for the job. She has an unparalleled resume and an unparalleled breadth of experience, constantly redefining the roles she has held: Secretary of State, U.S. Senator, First Lady, and Counsel for the Children’s Defense Fund. Her extensive background in domestic and international affairs is not just impressive, but in a time when world politics are becoming increasingly volatile and complex, her experience is invaluable.

Her continued advocacy for children’s rights and healthcare, topics that have become even more important in the wake of the pandemic, adds an extra layer to her appeal.

In the article, Ohana also praised her record, claiming that “Clinton has traveled the world giving passionate speeches on topics ranging from women’s rights and education to international diplomacy and health care.”

“Her ability to connect with diverse audiences and express complex ideas with clarity and conviction once again establishes her as a formidable global female politician.”

He concludes with a candid recommendation that the Democrats “have an experienced, savvy and adaptable candidate in Hillary Clinton.”

Ohana sees the former vice president as “free from the burdens of office,” meaning she can run on a platform of stability, recovery and progress, bringing the credibility and proven leadership of a lifetime in public office.

“In her candidacy, we may find our best chance of keeping the White House and transcending the combative spectacle of politics.”

This is not the first time Hillary Clinton has been suggested to run in 2024.

As Breitbart News reported, Fernand Amandi, a former pollster for President Barack Obama, released an internal study earlier this month that found both Vice President Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton to be better candidates than President Joe Biden.

“I’ve been really surprised by Hillary’s strength,” Amandi said. “Some people write her off as a throwback, but at least in these polls, voters are open to a Clinton comeback and the combination of Clinton as president and Harris as vice president suggests that they’re even stronger together.”
