A Florida man crashed a large tractor-trailer into a Tampa gentlemen’s club early Tuesday morning, killing one person and injuring two others.
The truck driver was detained and remains in critical condition following the incident. The driver, whose name has not been released, was forced from the store at approximately 4am on Tuesday for unknown reasons that led to the intentional crash.

“At approximately 4:19 a.m., officers received a report of a collision between a truck and a pedestrian in the parking lot of Emperor’s Gentlemen’s Club, located at 5718 E. Adamo Drive,” Tampa Police said in a statement released to Fox News Digital.

“Upon arriving on scene, officers discovered a truck had crashed into the front area leading to the building’s entrance,” the statement continued.
Police said witnesses at the scene said the driver, whose name has not been released, had “just been driven out of a club” before returning and crashing into the entrance to the gentlemen’s club, striking a group of people there.

Tampa police described the victim and two other injured people at the scene as “adult males.”
The two injured people are currently hospitalized but are expected to recover from the incident.

“This was an incredibly tragic and completely preventable incident,” Tampa Police Chief Lee Berkow said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “We are committed to obtaining justice for the victims and their families. Our thoughts are with all those affected, including the innocent bystanders who witnessed this horrific event.”
