Florida man not charged in bus attack over being dropped off at SeaWorld instead of Disney

A 37-year-old man who allegedly attacked a bus after the driver dropped him off at Walt Disney World in Florida instead of SeaWorld Orlando will not be charged.

The man, identified in media reports as Elijah Thomas, is not expected to be charged in connection with the Nov. 17 incident. fox orlando report.

“Based on the investigation conducted to date, it is my opinion that this case is not suitable for prosecution,” Assistant State Attorney Asai Akos Abroddeppy said in a court filing. “This action is taken to erase the records and waive the bail of the subject if posted in response to the above charges. If in custody, the defendant should be released It is.”

Thomas is accused of punching and kicking the front glass door of the bus several times, causing $500 in damage, according to an Orange County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit.

The bus driver told police he picked up passengers at Central Station. When the bus arrived at Disney Springs, the driver said the man was asleep.

The driver reportedly told the man, “This is the last stop, so please get off.'' His affidavit states that the man, identified as Thomas, “became enraged and began yelling and cursing.”

He got off the bus, but stayed outside, saying he needed to go to Sea World. He was allowed to return to the bus.

Thomas then allegedly attacked the bus and smashed the glass door. He was then located by police officers and arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
