Florida spring breakers hold illegal beach boxing match — complete with cryptocurrency betting: wild video

It's now in the Sunshiner state.

The Fort Lauderdale Spring Breaker was caught in a video hosting a complete improvised beach award fight on bets using cryptocurrency while locals watched ghast.

Local resident Joshua Petus recorded an uneasy sight while walking around the neighborhood and after overcoming one spring breaker, he said, something strange was happening. NBC Miami.

“I started hearing someone betting and they were doing it in code,” Petus told the outlet.

“I knew the boxing gloves were coming out, the ring was getting bigger and the fight was about to begin,” he said.

A video from Pettus shows two shirtless young men throwing devastating hooks at each other as a crowd of over 100 people recorded cheering on the phone.

“Why aren't they playing football? Petus wondered about the outlet.

According to NBC Miami, police arrived shortly after the fisticuffs began flying, and disbanded the beach-like game.

“Fort Lauderdale police witnessed two incidents on the beach and disbanded, and the crowd filled both times without further problems,” Fort Lauderdale said in a statement.

“No confirmed cases of bets have been reported. This type of behavior is not tolerated,” the statement said.

The city reminded the seasonal influx of tourists that alcohol, live music and coolers are not permitted in hyperhemophilic beach areas.

Petus said he welcomes the business that spring breakers bring, but believes they should maintain a higher level of courtesy.

“We want your business. We want you to enjoy and enjoy the beautiful place here in Sunny South Florida,” he said.
