Florida teacher Geanene White allegedly ordered students to beat up classmate

The Florida alternative teacher was arrested on child abuse charges that allegedly incited elementary school children to “beat” last month, according to new details revealed Sunday.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Geanne White, a sub at the YMCA Tiger Academy in Jacksonville, faces charges related to the February 12 incident, asking four students to take turns kicking and kicking colleagues. Action News JAX.

The victim elementary school students were divided into small groups to perform their school work, according to a police affidavit filed Sunday.

“Who can beat him here?” White allegedly asked her class, according to an arrest affidavit reviewed by multiple outlets.

Four students then raised their hands to volunteer for the credit beatdown. The Miami Herald reported.

According to a local outlet, after four consecutive attacks, White pushed the victim into the ground and forced him to hit his head on the desk, the affidavit claims.

The ruthless sub was reportedly then dragging the student to the ground by his collar and reporting it to school authorities. He reported, citing his affidavit, claiming he needed “action support.”

White denied allegations that the child incited an attack on poor students, claiming that he had participated in two fights in the classroom.

However, classmates, including the accused attacker, said the alternative caused the incident – one of the volunteer attackers told officers “the teacher told him to do it,” Jacksonville police officers wrote in their affidavit.

The Miami Herald reported that these officers saw cuts and bruises on the head of the boy who was attacked while conducting the interview.

White faces four counts contributing to child abuse charges and delinquent minors, according to an affidavit filed by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on March 2.

The YMCA claims that both YMCA Tiger Academy and Duval County public schools have been vetted by teachers, the YMCA said in a statement to the Miami Herald.
