Florida authorities say two tourists punched each other over Disney World tickets and a golf cart last week, leading to a brutal brawl that left them both locked in a bar.
Missouri women Katherine Northrup, 31, and Gina Danforth, 28, got into an argument inside a home they shared with several other people in Wildwood, Florida, local police said. According to Fox 35.
The two began arguing over Disney tickets and a golf cart, and the fight turned physical.
Northrup claimed Danforth “spit in his face” and then grabbed him by the hair and held him down, according to a Wildwood police arrest affidavit.
According to affidavits obtained by Fox News, both women admitted to assaulting the other person.
When police arrived at the home, Northrup became “belligerent” and they had to separate the two women, documents state.
Northrup had visible injuries to his neck, seen in a mug shot. She also suffered scratches to her elbow and stomach, Fox 35 reported.
Meanwhile, Danforth was “not feeling well” and was taken to a local hospital, the affidavit states.
The two women were taken to the Sumter County Jail because authorities were unable to determine who started the fight “due to a lack of reliable witnesses,” according to the affidavit.
Mr. Danforth and Mr. Northrup were both charged with battery and held on $1,000 bail.
