Florida woman poses an ICE agent to kidnap wife of former boyfriend

The Florida woman temporarily invited the wife of her ex-boyfriend from work, pose as a US immigration and customs agent.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s office, the 52-year-old La Trans Battle went to a woman’s workplace on April 10th at a hotel chain.

Battle had a handheld radio with her, but flashed a business card from the sheriff’s office and told the woman she had to leave with her, BCSO said.

“Due to fear, the victim got into the vehicle and was happy to go in Hatran,” a statement from the sheriff’s office said. “The victim confirmed that she really felt like Latran was an ice agent at the time and that she was in the process of becoming a legal US resident.”

As the battle drove, she spoke to a radio on hand, which promoted the victim’s belief that she was being taken to an ice agent, the tempted woman told authorities. Miami Herald.

During the ride, the woman called her husband and lawyer before the fight and tried to call her from her hands that she had “forcedly snatched” the call, lawmakers wrote.

The woman became suspicious when the battle arrived at the apartment on the bridge square where the battle said additional ice agents would be present, the newspaper reported.

“The victim told the victim he was going to the sheriff’s office and suspected something was wrong,” the sheriff’s office said. “When Latran entered the apartment, the victim fled and called law enforcement.”

The woman told her deputies she hid behind her neighbor’s car. When the fight came out of her apartment, she looked at her neighbor and asked him if he had seen the woman running, the neighbor told the deputy.

Battle told her neighbors that she received the woman’s phone because “she knows what she did.” The neighbors put the kidned woman in his apartment until law enforcement arrived. There she called her husband and explained the fake ice agent, authorities said.

Her husband said that according to the Miami Herald, he sounded like his ex-girlfriend who showed up at his job two years ago to attack him and attack him.

The battle was arrested on the way to Alabama and charged with felony mandate, robbery with sudden seizing, and on donations, pretending to be the commission of felony and felony violations of probation.
