Footage of Antonio Brown's confrontation comes up again following attempted murder charge

Multiple videos from a recent incident involving former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown in Miami have resurfaced online. The videos depict Brown firing a gun after a boxing match, which has led to an arrest warrant being issued against him for attempted murder with a firearm.

Brown, who is 36, stated he acted when he saw an attempt to steal something valuable following a high-profile boxing event organized by streamer Adin Ross.

Two videos highlighted by an NFL aggregator on X showcase Brown in a scuffle with several individuals outside the venue. One clip reveals him falling down during the altercation, kicking a man upon getting up, and then being calmed down by someone else.

It’s worth noting that Brown was seen driving erratically behind multiple vehicles during the chaos.

Another video captured the aftermath, showing people fleeing amidst the sound of gunfire. A bystander remarked how “crazy” the shot sounded. A separate clip featured a shirtless Brown being escorted by police, appearing to be in handcuffs as he was led toward a patrol car.

In the aftermath, Brown claimed he hadn’t been arrested and that he would be free shortly, as reported by TMZ. He explained in a post on X that he had only jumped at several people who he believed were trying to harm him, insisting the police briefly detained him to get his side of the story.

He stated, “I went home that night and wasn’t arrested. I will discuss with my legal team about charges against the individual who jumped me. I’ll keep everyone informed.”

The Miami Police Department reported receiving an alert about gunfire early on May 17, although they made no arrests and reported no injuries. According to the arrest warrant, an officer heard gunshots and saw Brown involved in a physical altercation.

Witnesses in the parking lot alleged that Brown fired a shot, however, he had no weapons on him when searched. Investigators found two shell casings and an empty gun holster in the area.

Furthermore, authorities obtained a video that allegedly shows Brown taking a gun from a security guard and running at the individual with whom he was fighting. The footage reportedly captured two gunshots as Brown approached the man.

The man involved later informed police that Brown had charged at him with a gun, shooting at him twice, apparently in the neck area. Both men claimed familiarity since 2022, but tensions had escalated leading to the altercation.

The arrest warrant set Brown’s bond at $10,000, and he is currently on house arrest pending trial. Attempts to reach Brown for comments went unanswered through his social media contacts.

Throughout his NFL career, spanning from 2010 to 2021, Brown primarily played for the Steelers before concluding with brief stints at the Patriots and Buccaneers. Since then, he has gained notoriety due to his behavior on social media.
