A man previously detained by ICE was charged Friday with brutally killing three children under the age of 5 during a drug-related incident inside a home in Minnesota.

Alonzo Pierre Mingo, 37, was charged with three counts of second-degree intentional homicide in the killing inside a home in suburban Minneapolis. He reportedly attempted to gain entry with two of his accomplices, wearing seasonal UPS uniforms and posing as employees.

Mingo, a Fridley resident, made her first court appearance Monday but was denied a public defender’s appointment. He was jailed on $5 million bail.

The victims, all shot in the head, have been identified as Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 42. her son, Jorge Alexander Reyes Jungwirth (20); and her husband Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada (39). All were residents of Coon Rapids.

The horrific incident occurred on Friday around 12:25 p.m., when the Coon Rapids Police Department, Blaine Police Department, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence near the 200 block of 94th Avenue NW in Coon Rapids.

When police arrived on scene, they found two adult males and an adult female deceased inside the residence.

Police said video footage taken from outside the home showed three people getting out of a car, believed to be Mingo’s, and entering the home on Friday. Authorities said the two men were dressed as delivery drivers, and one was carrying a cardboard box as if delivering a package.

Police said home camera footage showed Mingo, wearing a UPS-style uniform, leading the man at gunpoint into a bedroom where a woman and two children, ages 2 and 4, were inside. was reflected. video. They were the children of Estrada and Jungwirth.

Mingo reportedly pointed a gun at two adults inside the room and demanded money before forcing them and the children out of the room.

The suspect then returned with only the woman, Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, and shot her in the head at close range.

The criminal complaint does not mention charges against the other two suspects who broke into the home.

The Minnesota Star Tribune reported that a search warrant affidavit filed Monday links Trejo Estrada’s drug dealing to the murder. The documents, filed by members of the Twin Cities Violent Crimes Enforcement Team, allege that Trejo Estrada trafficked cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine and made large sums of money transfers “on numerous occasions to various individuals in Mexico.” ing.

The newspaper reports that within hours of the killing, law enforcement searched a warehouse rented by Trejo Estrada in Golden Valley and seized psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, methamphetamine, and an unspecified white powder, according to an affidavit. It was reported that this was revealed.

He was in ICE custody at Fort Snelling, according to 2019 Minnesota court documents.

Fox News Digital contacted ICE for details about his detention, but did not immediately receive a response.

In Minnesota, second-degree intentional murder is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.
