Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Montana) won the Republican primary. Against Mary Todd in the race to defend his Big Sky state seat in Montana’s 1st Congressional District.

Zinke served as secretary of the interior for several years under former President Trump before successfully running for a newly created congressional district in Montana in the 2022 midterm elections.

Zinke won the 2022 midterm elections, defeating Democratic challenger Monica Tranel, who lost in the last election but is running again for the seat in 2024.
