A former teacher from Texas has been arrested following accusations of inappropriate conduct with students. Holly Schroedter Adams, 41, faces charges for tampering with evidence and providing alcohol to minors after a prolonged investigation that began a year ago.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office revealed they started a thorough investigation on August 28, 2025, after receiving tips about alleged misconduct linked to Adams, who taught at Angleton High School.
According to reports, Adams had invited some students to her home for chores and confessed to communicating via Snapchat with three members of the school baseball team.
Authorities conducted interviews with both current and former students, while also reviewing evidence pertinent to the case.
Following these inquiries, a grand jury issued indictments as part of the ongoing investigation.
Adams was taken into custody on Tuesday and placed in the Brazoria County Detention Center.
The charges against her include one count of third-degree tampering with physical evidence and two counts of supplying alcohol to minors, classified as Class A misdemeanors.
In Texas, the penalty for tampering with evidence can include a prison term of two to ten years and a fine up to $10,000. Meanwhile, a Class A misdemeanor can result in up to one year in jail and a fine of $4,000.
According to jail documents, charges related to supplying alcohol to minors were filed on July 1, 2025, whereas the tampering charges were recorded on August 30, 2025.
So far, there have been no allegations against Adams concerning a physical relationship with any student.
Adams was released later that same day on a bond set at $26,000.

KTRK-TV reported that during the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at Adams’ residence, leading to the seizure of four cell phones, eleven nude photos, and a photo book containing naked images.
One student alerted school staff about Adams allegedly having inappropriate relations with a former student, per the warrant obtained by KTRK.
An unnamed student claimed that an alleged victim had made a FaceTime call to him while inside Adams’ bedroom during the summer, mentioning that her bed was covered in nude photos of the teacher.
The warrant also indicated that the same student had received a photograph showing him and Adams in a cuddling position on a sofa.
Fox News stated that Adams had reportedly invited students over under the pretext of the chores and had acknowledged contacting members of the baseball team through Snapchat.
Local newspapers like the Facts reported that the felony indictment accused Adams of deleting a Snapchat account in August 2025, fully aware that an investigation was underway, presumably to obstruct the evidence.
A spokesperson from the Angleton Independent School District confirmed that Adams no longer works with the district.
As of now, there hasn’t been an immediate response from either the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office or the Angleton Independent School District regarding requests for comments.
